Personal Update
As you might remember, I had both my knees replaced a few months ago.
I'm recovering slowly. I work out every morning trying to regain
strengthen in my legs and all over my body.
I'm hoping to start hiking with my wife soon. So far I've accompanied
her o a few short walks. I miss our time together on longer trails.
I'm looking forward to getting my garden prepared soon. The second year
of gardening here should be more productive than the first year. As
soon as the soil thaws, I'll start amending the soil. FYI. I'm planting
in raised planters as we don't have dirt on my property. It's mostly
rock.
I really need springtime o get here.
Cindi and I joined the Lake Area Photo Club Monday evening. Cindi is
doing very well with her wildlife photography. Her picture of a pair of
eagles was selected to be used on posters and advertising for "Eagle
Days" at the Lake of the Ozarks.
We're looking forward to improving our photography skills. It's fun
meeting a new group of like minded people. The people seemed really
nice.
I'll probably renew my membership in the the local art group, The Brush
And Palette Group. I'm helping formulating this years meeting agendas.
As soon as I physically can, I'll start going out on location and paint
en plein air. I miss it.
Soon you'll start seeing more of my new paintings.I'm rusty.
Currently I have three students in my oil painting class. I think they
will do well if they stick with it.
